The Snow Avalanche
Once upon a time there lived a man called Uncle Toby Oaks. He was an old man with a big big moustache. He is 99 years old. Then there is Taylor. He was 8 years old and very rich and smart. He even had a bling bling and a $2,000,000 watch. I think he was the richest boy in the world. Then there is Charlie. He was a naughty boy. He always spikes up his hair and he has a very long rats tail.
One day they went to the South Island to go skiing at Queenstown. When they were travelling up the mountain it was very foggy and blurry and they had drive very slowly up the mountain so that they didn’t drive off the edge. On the mountain there was a smell of hot chocolates and food and they could hear the buses and the chair lifts. They could see a great view of the mountain and people skiing and tobogganing.
Suddenly there was a big rumble and a loud noise. Someone went on the fresh snow and it started an avalanche. They quickly tried to go to higher grounds but uncle Toby Oaks because he was old he got caught in the avalanche. He was rolling down the mountain in the avalanche. He was thinking ‘Oh No I’m going to die.’
Then Taylor got some tennis rackets because his skis were broken. He used tennis rackets to go down the mountain to go back to the lodge to get some spades to dig uncle Toby Oaks out. Taylor raced to get to the chair lift. Then they dug uncle Toby Oaks out. When Uncle Toby Oaks came out he said “Thanks for digging me out.”
They called the mountain rescue people and they put him in a stretcher and they towed him behind a snow mobile. They took him back to his lodge for some hot chocolate. Then they said ‘Let’s go home.”
